Community Bank of Parkersburg Appoints New Board of Director

Parkersburg, W.Va. — Randall E. Snider, President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Bank announced today that Dr. R. Joe Weaver has been elected to the Board of Directors at the annual meeting of Community Bankshares  and it’s subsidiary  Community Bank.

“We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Weaver to our Board of Directors.  As a lifelong resident and established business leader, he has a vested interest in our community and our bank. We welcome Joe to our team of dedicated community leaders and look forward to the future of Community Bank.”

Weaver attended West Virginia University Parkersburg and West Virginia University. He earned his doctor of optometry from Southern College of Optometry.  He has practiced optometry at the Vienna Eye Clinic for 20 years.

Weaver also serves on the West Virginia University Parkersburg Foundation Board.  Previously he served on the Vienna Recreation Board, Jackson Park Board.

A native and current resident, Weaver resides in Vienna with his wife Dr. Lana Mohr and sons Ethan and Noah.

The Community Bank Board consists of eight directors.  The directors are:
